Tour Itinerary
Late afternoon, Your Luxor Local tour guide will pick you up from your hotel (Lobby), and transfer to the Nile side, where your Egyptian traditional Felucca is waiting for you journey. Board your Felucca and relax on the soft cushions. Experience the peace and tranquility of the Nile water that has been the lifeblood of Egypt since Pharaonic times.
Enjoy the Felucca gently glide down the river, watch the real Egyptian life pass by and enjoy the fantastic scenes that have not changed in millennia, the children playing in the water, the camels and donkeys, the farmers going about their work in the same ways they have done for centuries, and admire the water buffalo and a wide variety of birds.
The felucca will sail to the Banana Island “an Island covered with banana plantations” the boat captain will berth the felucca off the island and then take your short exploratory tour of the island, where you’ll be offered a refreshing cup of traditional Egyptian tea and some of the sweetest, most delicious bananas you have ever tasted. Return sailing and watch the sun sets slowly over Luxor West Bank, take in the scenes of life around you as you sail along the Nile, back to the Nile side and then transfer to your hotel in Luxor.

- The Felucca is scheduled to start about 15.00 in winter & about 16.30 in summer. The trip takes 2h30 to 3 hours.
- Departure time may vary depending on sun set time
- Your tour manager will tell you the exact pick up time two days prior.
- If the wind is not so good to sail the Felucca then a motorized boat will be placed to pull the Traditional Felucca. “Dhow”.
- No Charge in case of force cancellation 48 hours prior to the trip.

Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound. The prices quoted per person per tour all-inclusive and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the best price possible. Prices valid until 31 December 2022, except during Christmas, New Year & Easter holidays.
0 Years to 1.99 years of age: Free of charge.
2 years to 4.99 years of age: 50% from the full rate.
5 years to 11.99 years of age: 75% from the full rate
12+ pay full tour price as per adult person.
If your tour includes airfare then an extra charge for child rate may apply.
Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
Reservation should be made as early possible to book the desired holiday.
Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25 % of the full price. This payment will be 50 % during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare.
The deposit counts as part of your final payment.
Deposit can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard)
Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.
Tipping for a job well done is customary in Egypt, though not required. Please feel welcomed but not obliged to offer a tip to your guide.
After your trip is confirmed, we will email you with the final confirmation as a voucher to print and bring it with you. Details will include contact numbers for your tour operator, customer care and additional information for your convenience.
