Itineraries
Day 1
Arrive Cairo, Transfer to hotel
Welcome to Cairo, Egypt! Once you arrive at Cairo International Airport, your representative will meet, assist in customs and transfer to your hotel. Once arrived, check in and the rest of the day is free to settle and relax after your journey or If you arrive early you may like to take an evening sound and light show at the pyramids or enjoy a fantastic dinner cruise on the Nile (both available to book locally on arrival).

Day 2
Pyramids , Sphinx & Egyptian museum
Breakfast at the hotel, today your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The Giza plateau is home of the famous three pyramids of Giza, built over 4500 years ago! Explore the pyramids and learn about their fantastic history as you walk in the footsteps of the pharaohs. You have the chance to enter inside of one of these legendary structures and marvel at the massive stones used to construct them (Extra ticket on spot). Continue to the great Sphinx and the Valley temple of Cheops.
Head out to visit the Egyptian museum, home to the largest collection ancient Egyptian collection of jewels, relics but the most famous is the golden treasures of king Tutankhamun.
Get to know more of the Egyptian capital with a tour to the most amazing Islamic sites in Egypt. Enjoy a walking tour to El-Moez Street, al Hakim mosque and Khan el Khalili bazaar. Back to your hotel & overnight
Optional: Pyramids sound and light show, experience the iconic pyramids and the great Sphinx at night as they are lit with dancing lasers and visuals.

Day 3
Fly to Aswan / Nile cruise tour
Early morning, pick up and transfer to Cairo airport for your short flight to Aswan.
Upon arrival, start to visit the Aswan High Dam, considered a marvel of engineering when completed in 1970. Then proceed to the Temple of Philae, which is dedicated to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. After finished, transfer to board your Nile cruise ship in Aswan. Lunch on board. Take some time to get settled into your Cabin and explore the ship.
Later in the afternoon, you will take an Egyptian Felucca to sail on the Nile, pass by the Elephantine Island and visit the Botanical Gardens on the Kitchener Island. Dinner and overnight aboard the Nile cruise

Day 4
Cruising to Edfu / kom-ombo temple
Early in the morning, you Nile Cruise ship will set sail to Kom Ombo, upon arrival you will explore the unusual double temple dedicated to the gods Haroeris and Sobek. See the Nilometer which used to measure the level of the Nile Water, during the annual flood season.
The cruise will continue to sail to Edfu, enjoy a traditional Carriage ride to visit the Temple of Edfu, consider the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. This is partly because it was built later during the Ptolemaic era from 237 to 57 BC. Despite its later date, it reflects traditional Pharaonic architecture and so provides an excellent idea of how all the temples once looked. Then you will cruise to Luxor via Esna, Dinner and overnight aboard the Nile cruise

Day 5
Luxor west bank tour / Valley of the kings
Breakfast on board, today your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up to explore some of the most incredible sites of the country. Start with a photo stop at the huge Colossi of Memnon which is all that remain of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III.
Head to the world-famous Valley of the Kings, it is here that the most powerful and influential of ancient Egypt were buried. You will have the chance to explore three tombs of the ancient Pharaohs. Whilst here, you can visit the tomb of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun (Extra ticket on spot).
Continue exploring the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, she was the second pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty of ancient Egypt. The temple was constructed in three terraced structure located below mountain cliffs. The funerary temples were constructed along the desert edge in western Thebes.
After finished, transfer to your Nile Cruise and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure.
Optional: You have the choice to rise very early to see the West Bank from above on an optional hot air balloon ride.

Day 6
Luxor east bank tour / fly to Cairo
Disembarkation after breakfast, today, you will explore the Temples of Karnak. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx to enter the complex as your Egyptologist guide explains how the massive facade was constructed. Karnak Temple Complex, home to a vast array of decayed temples, chapels, pylons and other ancient buildings as you soak up the unique atmosphere and let your imagination run wild as you learn about life in Ancient Egypt. Continue to Luxor Temple which was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a two-kilometer-long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple.
Later on, transfer to the airport for a flight back to Cairo. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight stay in Cairo

Departure Transfer
Breakfast at your hotel, your time is free. Then we transfer you to the Cairo international airport for your departure flight.
